Good news BleBlo-ers. We re-built the barcode scanning part of the app, please have a look at the latest update BleBlo V3 which also includes some other improvements such as alphabetical sorting.

Something went wrong:
(10 October 2014)
If you get this error it most likely means you are disconnected from the internet and hence the BleBlo server. This typically happens if you are switching from data to wireless while the app is running or there is no connection at all.  If you are convinced this is not the case, please send a screen grab, when it happens again to sorted@bleblo.com . To take a screengrab press the volume up and power buttons simultaneously (Lumia Devices with WP8+).

Friends collections don’t show up:
(5 July 2014)
There are certain conditions that require you to sign out and sign in again to see your friend’s collections. You wont lose any of your collections when you do this.

Doesn’t show the name of the person you borrowed from or lent an item to:

This only happens occasionally and the problem sorts itself out the next time you open BleBlo

  1. After downloading the app for Windows Phone 8.1, I was only able to add 4 items to a collection. Now when I try to add more I just get a vague “something went wrong” error dialogue.

    1. Hi there Tyler, do you still have this problem? It normally gives that error when you are not connected to the internet, please let us know and we will try and solve it asap. What handset are you using?

    1. Thanks Steffan, we are working on a new API that solves the problem with content not being recognized accurately, it should be solved in about 2 weeks. Having said that all databases have a limit to what content is available, would you mind sending one of the barcodes you are scanning to see if it will be available in our database? You can mail a pic or the code to sorted@bleblo.com

      1. Hi there Tyler, good news. We re-built the barcode scanning part of the app, please have a look at the latest update BleBlo V3 which also includes some other improvements such as alphabetical sorting. I’m also making BleBlo free for Halloween…

    1. Hi there Simon, yes the next update will have everything sorted in alphabetical order by default, due for release 24 Oct 2014.

  2. I have been trying to scan items and it never does anything. I have a Samsung Ativ S Neo on Sprint.

The camera does not focus on the barcode and I get no indication anything is happening. I am having to hand enter everything which kind of defeats the purpose of using this to create my collection.

    Any suggestions?

    1. Hi there Nathan, we released an update which should have improved camera recognition, unfortunately I don’t have a Samsung Ativ S so it is hard for me to test the improvements on that specific handset. The new update also includes predictive titles, which in my experience is faster than the scanning (even though it requires more physical input from the user).

  3. When sorting alphabetically you should ignore the word THE as most titles start with THE and it doesn’t help to have The Simpsons and The Matrix sorted together.
